third season

We've started our third season and are looking for projects that reflect on the connections and ruptures caused by Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine. Deadline: May 30th.

description

Over the first two seasons, we funded the production and presentation of 16 digital and hybrid theatrical and performative projects that documented the new reality brought by the war and problematized issues of shifting identities in movement.

This new season, our focus is on the connections between people and communities.

We are seeking projects that critically examine the connections and ruptures caused by Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine. Personal and social connections — what happens to them? How do old connections persist despite active Russian censorship and propaganda, with free expression driven underground? How are new connections emerging in new local contexts or under translocal conditions? How are ruptures experienced? What might practices of care and solidarity look like today?

We will support 5 digital works at the intersection of contemporary theatre and performance art that explore the theme of connections through their content or form. For instance, these projects may address overcoming ruptures or collaborating with other anti-war initiatives.

This season, we are only accepting fully digital projects.
